Welcome to HypnoThoughts Live! We're thrilled to have you join our community of hypnosis professionals and enthusiasts. This code of conduct ensures a positive, respectful, and enriching experience for all participants.
1) Name Badges: Always wear your name badge for identification and security purposes.
2) Whova App: We highly encourage downloading the free Whova app from your device's app store. This will help you stay updated on the conference schedule and activities.
3) Room Capacity: Please note that rooms have limited capacity. Have an alternate choice in mind if your first choice is full. Marking attendance in the app doesn't guarantee a seat.
4) Recording Policy: Personal video or audio recording during lectures is not permitted unless the presenter explicitly grants permission.
5) Sales Policy: No back-of-the-room sales are allowed. All sales should take place at designated Vendor Booths.
1) Respect: Be mindful and respectful of those around you. We are committed to providing a harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion.
2) Demonstrations: If you volunteer for a demo, ensure you understand what is being illustrated. Presenters must obtain consent for all aspects of the demonstration. Consent must be given for each demo.
3) Confidentiality: Respect client confidentiality in case discussions.
4) Evidence-Based Claims: Avoid making claims about hypnosis that are not supported by evidence.
5) Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights and give proper credit to others' work.
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and staff at HypnoThoughts Live are expected to:
1) Treat all participants with respect and consideration
2) Be mindful of your language and actions, and how they may impact others
3) Communicate openly and thoughtfully with others and be considerate of the multitude of views and opinions that may differ from your own
4) Be respectful in your critique of ideas
5) Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech
6) Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:
1) Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
2) Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest
3) Disruption of presentations or other events
4) Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention
5) Inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces
6) Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
7) Harassing photography or recording
8) Sustained disruption of talks or other events
9) Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior
If you experience or witness any violations of this code of conduct, please report it immediately using one of the following methods:
1. In Person: Bring the issue directly to our front desk, which is staffed during all conference hours. Our staff members are trained to handle reports confidentially and professionally.
2. By Email: Send a written report to info@htlive.net. This email is monitored regularly throughout the conference.
3. Staff Assistance: Any HypnoThoughts Live staff member or volunteer can direct you to the appropriate reporting channels.
All reports will be treated with confidentiality and will be promptly addressed by our dedicated response team. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all participants and will take appropriate action to address any issues that arise.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
1) Respect the varying levels of experience among attendees and avoid pressuring anyone into participating in demonstrations
2) Be mindful of the diverse backgrounds and experiences of attendees when discussing sensitive topics
3) There is limited time to set up for the next presenter. Please be considerate and prompt
We expect all conference participants (attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and staff) to abide by this code of conduct at all conference venues and conference-related social events.
Your presence at HypnoThoughts Live indicates your commitment to making a positive difference, not only with your own clients and contacts but within the hypnosis community as well. We appreciate your contribution to creating a respectful and collegial atmosphere.
