Hey everybody, it's Scott Sandland. We're coming up hypnothoughts live in just a few weeks. So here's a bunch of things that you guys are going to want to know before you get there. The first thing is a 24 hour notice on or actually just less than like more like 20 hours notice on t shirts. If you want to buy your shirt before the conference and just have it there when you get there, you got to buy that before noon tomorrow. Tracy's making the shirts for us. He's doing a great job. I just saw the picture of the shirt come off the line and they are really cool. And so go to the link, we'll put a link down below so you guys can find the shirts.

Of course you can buy the shirts at the conference, but we will have a more limited supply because people will be pre purchasing. And just to say it, the shirt is a great backup costume for the costume party that is Friday night. And theme is summer camp or sleepaway 80s, you know, 1980s camp. Like that kind of like going to camp summer camp. That's the idea. And I want to talk about that for a second as it relates to the other thing I really want to bring up because the pool party on Thursday, by the way, sponsored by Ken Gutso, like it has been since the beginning of time. Ken made this pool party happen. He has been hosting, buying drinks for people since the very first one. And that will be no exception this year.
01:23
I didn't mention it in the last video, Ken, but love you. Thank you. That's Thursday night and that gives us a vibe night, like just to kind of get settled in and get to know each other before the classes start, before everything happens, just to kind of land together. And then Friday night's the costume party and so pool party on Thursday, costume party Friday. And then you know, we go on and Saturdays are real great. Just kind of like if you just want to hang out and kind of have a down night, if you want to go to Vegas, that's what Saturday night's for. It's optionality night and we do stuff like Richard Rumble's got the hypnodome and we've got all sorts of really cool stuff. But I want to talk about one piece right now.
02:08
Why we do it and how we do it. And I want to combine them. So here's the basics of this. I made a video last week where I said Stephanie and the Sahara did a very generous thing and got you guys 15% off your meals everywhere and they did. And I got a bunch of thank you emails. I mean, a couple that were like, scott, we know you really did stuff. You deserve a thank you for this. I really do not. I really do not. I really had nothing to do with the conversations that Stephanie and the Sahara had to make that happen for all of you. So you get 15% off your food all over the property. Watch the other video for details.

Just because we really are a community first, we really are running hypnothoughts live with the idea of how to be as beneficial for the industry as possible and how to be as beneficial for you, the practitioner, as possible. And so we put things together with, okay, well, we need something that solves this, we need something that provides this. And we think we've gotten most of the basis covered at this point. And that's why we do things like, hey, let's have a costume party and let's get the presenters to dress up. Let's get the important big names to be part of that community. And we have been so fortunate to be supported for so long by so many amazing presenters who don't take themselves seriously. And so much more gratitude goes to them. So thank you to those guys.
03:37
And that's really what Thursday is like. Hey, we're all doing a pool party. Friday, we're all going to dress up like idiots. Saturday, you can do whatever you want, whether that's lay low, maybe go to the Casbar because it's going to be 15% off all night. Maybe go to the Tangiers. That's going to be, you know, whatever. You guys can figure it out. Or maybe you go out and see Vegas. Also a fun option. Whatever you want to do. But here's what I would encourage. Make sure you're bringing the new people with you. Make sure that the people who are new feel included in those groups. Because you've made friends at hypnothoughts Live for years, or you've known people in online trainings for years, and then you get to see each other and it's so fun.
04:18
But one of the great things about hypnothoughts live is how much we grow as a community. And that's why the choose your own adventure night is Saturday night, because that means you had Thursday and Friday to get to know people, and then Saturday, you guys can go out together. And so I really want to encourage you guys to be doing that, to be inclusive. Inclusivity is a very important part of hypnothoughts Live and hypnothoughts in general. So I want to encourage that, and I don't think I need to encourage that. And so I'm mostly saying this for the new people to feel welcome and to feel like it is appropriate for you to tag along, because it is. It is appropriate for you to say, hey, can I come? It is appropriate for you to say, oh, is everyone getting on the monorail?
05:00
Because we do that group discount thing for the monorail. Is it, like, cool if I come to Fremont with you guys? Is it cool if I go to that show with you? Is it cool if I see that and go to the Bellagio or whatever? And, you know, like, Carl often takes a group to the Strat to do street hypnosis. Another group, I think Tracy Gray and a couple people often go down to, like, the Bellagio fountains. And people can go wherever they want. But the idea is make sure people are, like, inviting each other. And one other thing that we're doing this year is another field trip on Saturday. And I've alluded to this, and the organizers of it put it in Hoova and did a great job. So just go to Whova and put your stuff there.
05:49
But the idea is a lot of people have been wanting to try recreational cannabis just, you know, pot, because it's legal in Nevada and you're from places where it's not. And then people are like, you know, maybe being overserved or overindulging or not really sure what they're doing. And so a group put together a really cool field trip to a location that specializes in doing that and helping people with their first time. So take a look at that. It's in the Whova app. And by the way, the Whova app is the place for you to do the same kind of thing, to post ideas, to post events, and to look for them. If you're not a poster, but you're more of a reader, which is a wonderful thing to be. Go check out the Whova app. People will be sharing.
06:30
Hey, we're gonna have lunch together here. Hey, we're gonna do dinner here. Hey, breakfast. Meet us at this time and let's talk for a second about breakfast. It's gonna be delicious. Stephanie and I just went through the catering stuff with the hotel the other day, and we're doing it from 7:30 to 9 every morning. So classes start at 9. The hour and a half before that, we will have buffets going for breakfast. So if you want to get there at 7:25 and wait, you know, until the doors open and be the first to get the eggs or the French toast. Lovely. If you want to roll in 20 minutes before your first talk of the day and you just want to grab something light. Wonderful. But please, please use breakfast for community.
07:13
Those of you who've been coming to hypnothoughts for a long time know what a great thing lunch was when we could fit everybody in one place. And of course, that's still a wonderful idea that we'd love to do if it were possible. But we're spending a lot of money on breakfast to make it great for you guys. So please come check it out. We'll have coffee, we'll have tea, we'll have juice and water. We'll have a full breakfast. It's going to be a full breakfast. It's not just have a muffin. If that's all you want, that's fine. But it's going to like, everyone should come to breakfast and use it for community building, especially you East Coasters who this will be easy for you to get up in time. Cool. So T shirts.
07:54
Get your T shirt in the next like 20 hours or you're gonna have to wait and grab one of sizes available when you get to the conference. It's gonna be a great thing for the costume party. Or you can wear whatever you want for the costume party, which should be a lot of fun. So that's those things. Remember the pool party Thursday night, sponsored by Ken Gutso, as it has always been and just as we have always done, giving you guys the space to put out new things, the street hypnotists are doing theirs. There is now a field trip to a dispensary and tasting room. I don't know exactly the language here. And there's other people putting together things in Hoover as well. And the idea is we want to create spaces where there's the right place for everything.
08:40
Of course we're going to have the family room again this year. That was such a fun thing last year. It's going to be just this de facto place to just kind of hang out. Comfortable seating and just to chill. That'll be open during the costume party, but it'll be open throughout the conference. And man, I'm excited to see you guys. I'm excited to build. Rebuild a lot of these connections, build new ones and just to see you guys. So we are coming up in just a couple weeks and I will see you in Las Vegas.

Stay up to date with what's going on with the largest hypnotherapy conference & online community in the world.
