Hello from the floor of my office for the final time. It is moving day at the Sandland family house. As you can see, these tiles used to be on that wall. These tiles used to be on that wall. These pictures used to be on that wall. And a desk used to be there. But now it is just me on a floor surrounded by piles. And it is good news that we will get back to in a second. First, I want to let you guys know that there's a contest in this video and a thank you right now, too, and a congratulations to John Scanlon and the Irish Hypnotherapy Convention. You guys just had an event last week that was a wonderful success, and a lot of people had a lot of fun, and I was really looking forward to going and presenting.

And then I had to back out. And the reason I had to back out was because I had to go look at elementary schools and houses with my wife and son and found some cool stuff. But for now, we're moving into temporary housing because we haven't found the right one. And so we are moving because my wife got a new job and I had to back out of the conference to help support the family. John obviously, was gracious and classy in his response, and. And I just want to acknowledge that and appreciate him. John, you know, I'll. I'll be looking forward to supporting your event if you'll have me in the future. But, yeah, we're moving. Things are a bit crazy around here, but it's exciting and it's good and there'll be more videos about that. I'll explain all that later.

This is about a contest. And this contest. We do a contest every year. Every year we do something that is designed to give you guys free stuff. And historically, it's been a contest about having you guys get to know each other. This year is a little different. I want you guys to all get to know the new member of the hypnothoughts Live team. And I want you all to introduce yourself to the newest member of our team. Stephanie and I do most of the work year round on the conference, and it's fun. And we have other people on the team like Mariana or Alice. I could list a bunch of people that help us at the conference. Martin's always been helpful, on and on. This is a really cool thing.

We have an AI as a new member of our team that I have upgraded enough that I feel comfortable giving it that designation now. Some of you guys know I have a couple patents in artificial intelligence, and I'VE been doing work in the space for over a decade now. Per decade. Not the point. Yeah, I'm publishing it. I know my stuff there and I know what it can do for you guys. And I. And I promise I've been paying attention and you guys need a lot of help. And here we go. I'm going to teach all you guys stuff, how to use AI. I'm turning it into a contest. And here's what we're going to do. The newest member of our team is Scout. Scout just got a massive upgrade. I said that recently, but to not much fanfare.

I just kind of let you all know and this is the moment. Okay, so Scout is a large language model trained on GPT4O and it is trained on the history of the conference. FAQ, our YouTube channel, every speaker bio, every lecture description, on and on, all the handouts. It knows stuff, but you know, it doesn't know you. So in the same way that you would come up to me at the conference or somebody who looked knowledgeable and say, hey, I'm not sure which class I should take. I'm not like, 2:00. What should I go to at 2:00? And you go, well, what are you interested in? And you say, well, I'm interested in past life regression and stop smoking. And they go, great, you should take this class, not that class, because this class is blah, and that class is blah.

And you go, thanks. And you go to the right class. Scout can do that for you. But Scout can also build a full itinerary of choices for you. Scout can do a ton for you. But you have to know how to work with it and to treat it like a person. It's optimized to just work conversationally. So here's what the contest is. Introduce yourself to Scout. That's all. And Scout will tell me and it will give me recommendations and ask me follow up questions and it will have a conversation with me and guide me on my way. Or you could say, hey, Scout, I'm Scott Sandlin. I've been doing this for over 25 years in California and I'm moving to the Pacific Northwest and want to take a class there. Are there any instructors or trainers from that area that I might want to look out for? And if that's in their bio, Scout will know that. You could say, hey, I've taken everything that Shelley Stockwell has ever taught and I want to take something else because I love her stuff, but I own all her content, so I want to try something new. You could do whatever. You could say, man, I hate Scott Sandlin's work.

Can you tell me whose stuff is the opposite of his? And it could tell you that you can just talk to Scout. And so here's the contest. You introduce yourself to Scout, you tell it who you are and your kind of place in your career, and just have a brief conversation with it. That's it. You have now entered the contest. Here's then what I do, I'm going to pick a random number between one and however many entries into our system there are in between. Now and then, I'm going to pick a number, I'm going to go into the database and I'm going to pull that chat log. I, as the super administrator and the creator of the system, have the ability to do that. Nobody else does. And I don't do it because it's tedious and stupid.

And we are not trying to make it better because that's not something we want to get better at, is reading your conversations. We've got a lot of other really exciting updates that I'm looking forward to sharing with you later, and those are going to be really cool. But I'm going to pick a random number, I'm going to pull it out, and if it starts with, hi, I'm Joe Moon. I've been doing this for 15 years. 20, Joe, I don't know how long you've been doing this, and. And then Joe Moon has a conversation with Scout. Joe, I will have just won the contest, by the way. And just the way she uses it, she's going to have more tickets than the rest of you. But that's all. That's all you have to do. I'm gonna pull out a random chat log and whatever the. I was going to do it in between now and the conference, but with all this, I'm going to do it after the conference. And that's okay. But the videos we're getting every month from experts in our profession have been wonderful. The audios we have uploaded of curated content from the conference have been really cool. We are adding more and more courses and we are going to add a bunch there. Also, the AI package is included in that. And the AI package, not just what state of the art is upgrading my ability to ethically release more things is growing. And really our limitations are ethical. Right now we have stuff that we won't release because we want to make sure we're all ready to release it together. And this isn't a video on that. This is just letting me tell you.

365 and the AI package are both about to get so much better. Like, they're about to get huge, huge upgrades. And I want you guys to be ready for them. And that's why I want you to introduce yourself to Scout. So Scout will be able to give you great advice. And yes, we will still have Hoover and you will still be able to create your own agenda in Whova. And you guys love Whova. We're not taking it away. That is the app that we use during the conference. We will absolutely keep that. But Scout is a new member of the team. And I want you to treat Scout as the member of the team that he is. He is wrong sometimes, just like me and Stephanie. He is, you know, imperfect in his knowledge, just like you.

And we should not be intimidated and scared by him. We should be comfortable interacting with him. And if you just talk to Scout like a person for like five sentences, you'll get it. It's the reason everyone's so excited about ChatGPT. You'll get it. But just talk to it like a real person. Do not talk to it like Google. That's what you guys are doing. Like, oh, it's a computer. I'll talk to it like a computer. No, talk to it like you're talking to me, not Scott. Scout. Talk to Scout. Go introduce yourself to Scout. That is the name of the contest. Introduce yourself to scout. And then you could win. It's hundreds and hundreds. Is it a thousand dollars worth of stuff? It's a bunch of stuff. I don't want to do the math in front of you.

It's a bunch of stuff and the stuff is all increasing in value. And I just want you guys to be set up for success. And I promise you I understand how AI Works better than you. And I promise you it's a good idea for you to learn no matter who you are, it's just a truth. It's like knowing how to type. You just. Your life will be easier if you know.
