This course is open for anyone that is interested in how Hypnosis works for Pain Management. Hypnosis is recommended by the NIH for pain management, yet many hypnotists feel insecure about working in this area. With the escalation of an opioid epidemic, hypnosis is a natural adjunct to a pain protocol. Understanding the why and how this works is necessary in giving you the confidence you need to include this niche in your practice and in transferring this knowledge to your clients. The door for hypnotists to work with multi-disciplinary pain management teams has been opened by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations which set standards for the assessment of pain and states that alternative non-pharmacological methods for pain management be used by all hospitals.
You will also leave with ideas for a pain management program. Then, this class will have you see pain elimination and practice various methods so that YOU will be transformed as a hypnotist. When you add pain management to your practice your practice can grow exponentially!
